Have a Partner R7, and did a little searching here on how to send a broadcast message to all mailbox users. I found these steps:

"Login, press 1, press star 5, press 50#, press *#, press # in order to send a message to all mailboxes."

I tried this, and it didn't work - says that group list #50 doesn't exist. I thought that #50 might have auto-populated when new mailboxes were added.

When I administered the old Audix system, broadcast messages were done in a similar fashion, but can't seem to get it to work for the Partner. Many thanks for the help.

Partner Messaging doesn't automatically add mailboxes to any groups - you have to do that manually as the administrator, or an individual user can also create their own group.

If you connect the LAN port to your network, and use the programming GUI, it is a trivial matter to update the groups.

Otherwise, log into the System Admin mailbox, and select option 7 to administer group lists.

Thanks, Tommy - just wanted to be sure there wasn't an easier way. Will keep adding the boxes to a group list.
