Afternoon to all. Quick question regarding broadcast messaging on Call Pilot. Our office in Reston, VA wants to be able to send out a broadcast message too 2 locations in New York and New Jersey. In order for this message to be broadcast would I need a "broadcast mailbox" on each system or would I designate a users "mailbox" on the system as the broadcast mailbox and then forward the message from there ?

Any help or assistance is as always greatly appreciated.

Regards

Lou

You would need a Broadcast Mailbox on each system, but be warned using Broadcast can tie up your Vmail for Hours as people listen to it. I had this happen at 1 site.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

broadcast are not good if either systems are using menus.. your inbound will get ring no answer.. if the two mails are networked.. (nws) you can do it with one mailbox.. if not you'll need two.. email has replaced broadcast in most cases.
