I will soon be living with two mates and we are getting broadband,
we want to share the connection between two pc's, (but not using ICS in XP because the "server" machine has to remain on ETC)
We will be using a combined router\modem, We want to go wireless (wireless nic's)if possible so we can have pc's in different rooms whilst sharing the connection,
Am I correct in saying that all we need to buy is:
combined broadband modem + router
2 X wireless nic's (one for each machines PCI slot)
how do we set it up in windows or is this done using the browser interface to the router\modem?
I would also like to set up VPN,
can any one give me a decent link and\or some advice,
