Got 2 PC's
One has a broadband connection (4 Meg).
The broadband modem has ethernet and USB sockets.
I want to run a wireless connection to another pc downstairs.
What do i need to get / do to make this happen.
I am not sure if I will keep the 4 meg speed downstairs, but I only really need the full speed on the one upstairs.
As you can probably tell I know naff all about wireless stuff.
For the record I am running XP pro on both machines.

Thanks
Steve

Either connected the DSL modem to a wireless router, use ethernet cable for the upstairs computer and a wireless nic for the downstairs; or,

Add a wireless NIC to both computers and bridge the wired and wireless NICs on the upstairs computer. The wireless NICs would use "Ad Hoc" mode to communicate without a router.
