I have a hp omnibook xe 4500 laptop computer, which is a pentium 4 - with 512mb RAM. running windows xp professional.
Have done all relevant maintenance etc to 'improve' performance (ie: disk clean up, thorough defrag, scandisk etc) however, I am experiencing some 'resistance' in downloading internet pages.
eg: If I enter web address in address bar, it does not switch to new web page, straight away. Instead it searches for the new web address, slowly, displaying an orange shadow which slowly covers the actual web address I have typed in - sometimes it can be a long process - though I dont know why? (Was quicker previously)
ANY TIPS/SUGGESTIONS, GREATLY NEEDED!!! "aaahhgghhhhh !!!"
THANKS
