Im working on a customer issue who uses broadband.com sip trunks. We are using an edgemarc 5300 for the sip trunks. I have found a few issues with SIP so far and wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing this. The first issue I called mitel yesterday to work on it but could really find anything wrong on the mitel end. Basically when you Transfer someone from the AA or from a station, the caller does not hear the ringback tone or MOH. Mitel said they have seen issues where the SIP firewall firmware is out of date which could cause this....im not so sure about this, has anyone else experienced this.
My 2nd issue (more of a heads up for everyone else) im told is being resolved in 9.0UR2 i'm told. There are some numbers I can call that just ring and ring. Bandwidth.com see's the call get picked up on the other end. Through hours of going back and forth we found that Based on the troubleshooting we have performed it appears the Mitel is requesting early media be sent to the phone @ 10.0.0.130 During the 183, the media is correctly being sent out Edgewater interface 10.0.1.26:16404 to 10.0.0.130:50234. Appears to be a configuration issue on Mitel not receiving SDP Early Media.
