Bringing Files to Front of Projector File

I’ve created a flash projector using flash CS3. I have buttons linking to pdf documents and video clips. When I click on the buttons my documents and video will not come to the top. The files open behind the projector file. I have tried _blank, _top, and _parent in the code and none work…what is the proper code?
