bring today's date into a report

Is there any way to bring in today's date into a Crhstal report. What I would like to do is have the user run the report for an incident, the only problem with it is that the incidnet has not been closed out yet. The user would like to see how many day's it has been open (from the time it was claimed to today) I am just not sure how to classify or bring in todays date

will display the current date when the report is run.

Crystal provides the built in functions "currentdate" and "currentdatetime" for this type of requirement. In your case it would be:

datediff("d",{IncidentOpenDate},currentdate)
