I am working with a report that I would like to open in front of several popup forms. Is there a way to code this in Access 97? I tried make the forms visible = false, the problem I have is knowing which forms were open prior to opening the report, so I know which forms to make visible = true. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Hi OrbitMascot,
If you don't need the buit-in menus with Access then you can set the popup property in the report to Yes. This should pop the report on top. If all you want to do is read the report. If you want to print the report then you will have to create a way to do this as the built-in menus will no longer be available to the report.

Lamar,
Thanks for your quick response. That would work perfectly. I am having a little trouble finding the popup in the report properties. Do I need to code it to popup, or should it be in the report properties?

Thanks,

It's in the same section as it is for form's. Open the report in design view, pull up the properties for the report by double clicking the square in the upper left corner of the report. Go to the 'Other' tab and you'll find the PopUp proprrty there.

In Access 97, there is no option for PopUp in the report properties. I have looked everywhere on the properties tabs. Is there another way to get the report to be a popup? Or is there something that I need to do to get the popup option in Access 97? Thanks for your all your help.

Thanks,

In Access 97, you can't move a report in front of pop-up forms. You can set the Visible property of your forms to False.
