bring app to front

hi . i need to rebuild a xpa farm.
previously due to terminals etc - i published a whole desktop but i now want to just publish the app.
the problem i have is the app in question need to make calls to word 2000. i have installed this onto the boxes as well (we use 2003 on pc's) -

if i lauch the app - it runs ok but when it calls word - word is not set to the foreground but remains behind the app - so the user has to minimise the main app to see it.

it doesnt do this on current setup . any idea how i can force this to the front.

i'm using the latest pn - which previously we were 10.0 i think

is this a client issue , contect redirection or just something weird

any help appreciated
