How do I create a 5 day rotation - full backup - append?

If I choose rotation scheme - 5 day weekly full backup the mode shows overwrite, even if the append radio button is selected.

Would I use the Enable GFS/Append Media option for this?

Full backups are always Overwrite.

Don't use a rotation scheme. Do a Custom Schedule, and choose "Day(s) of Week". Simply select Monday through Friday, and then when you do full backups it won't overwrite (unless you choose it to overwrite in Options\Backup Media. I backup a lot of servers and I don't use a single Rotation Scheme setup.
