Brightstor Enterprise Backup using backup to file

I have recently purchased Brightstor Enterprise Backup. I would like to use the backup to disk feature so I can backup to the space I have on a SAN. I can't figure out how to use backup to disk with Media pools and GFS automated backups so that I can put multiple disk media into the same groups. Groups seem to be limited at 16 or something. It might be a limitation in the software?

Yes, the group maximum is limited to 16 groups. As long as you give your file system devices identical names you can group them together. But why using GFS rotation schemes on backup to disk devices ??

I would like to automate the process of the backup to disk with Media pools such like with a tape library. Would there be a better way?
