Runing Brightstor Enterprise Backup V10.0 and the EB\Database\Astpsdat. files are filling up my HD.

I tried pruneing the database, which the logs say worked but the database size has not decreased.

Any options?

Thanks!

this is one of the more popular questions and so I will be very brief and let others fill in details or leave it up to you to research it here.

Pruning does not reduce the database size. Reduce retention time for the prune job to maintain the database at a smaller size and run a keybuild to reclaim the disk space. Initilize astpsdat for the quick fix.

to keep it simple just inisilize database each month.
