Brightstor Arcserve Backup v9 Authentication Problem ???!?! 1

For the last 3-4 months, i have no problems with this BAB 9 in my winnt 4.0 server . But since 3 weeks ago i can't login to the BAB Manager.
it said &quot;server <servername> failed to authenticated the user caroot (ec=-1)&quot;
I think i have do anything that i know, like : using ca_auth.exe ( to change the password) and follow all the faq site to solve this problem)
using cstop.bat and cstart.bat , bsconfig and also chek in the task manager &quot;ca_authd&quot; is running.
also we remove/reinstall the program, but the same problem occurs.

Anyone can help me ???? thx

From the command prompt in the ARCserve$ directory type the following:
cstop (Stop the services)
authsetup /p (to reset the password)
cstart (Start the services)
