BrightStor ARCserve Backup hangs

Hello,

We are running Brightstor ARCserve Backup Release 11.0 (Build 2670). The program has become unresponsive. It no longer bakcs up, giving an error E3530 Failed to login to database. (EC=-2005)
and
W3831 Unable to find any media that can be used in this job.

When I go into the console to look at these things, it takes about 10-20 minutes to change screens in certain windows. Such as the backup or database windows.

Where do I even start on this?

HI,

THis could be a problem with the ARCserve Database.

Are you using the native BAB database or SQL ?
Please run a maintenance on your database.
Should help you resolve this issue.

I had to uninstall and install an older version. When I get a new copy of the media I will reinstall. I'll keep that in mind for next time though. Thanks!
