Brightstor Arcserve 9 - E9003 - Help pls.

Hi

We've just installed Arcserve 9 for Windows 2000 server. Build version as follows:

Version 9.0 (Build 1868)

The components we've installed are:

Brightstor ArcServe 9
Brightstor Windows Agent (on other 2K server)
Brightstor Arcserve Agent for Microsoft Exchange.

All seems to be fine and we can successfully backup / restore using these agents without any problem. However we're getting this error message in the Arcserve log.

E9003 2003/03/12 13:21:58 12 Unable to execute command. (CMD=13:12:16, EC=FILE NOT FOUND)

Any help much appreciated.

Also, are any patches available for this build?

It seems you use a 'pre/post' option on the client agent that cannot be executed. Check this command and see if you can edit this batch to run properly.

Thanks for this, eventually I noticed that the Arcserve for some unknown reason added a pre / post command in the options area for the job (because I certainly did'nt put it there!). I removed and it seems fine now.

Great software this Arcserve stuff!
