briged appearance for analog

Can I use a bridged appearance on digital phone for an analog port? I programmed it but it does not ring or show red LED when the analog is ringing or busy.

addendeum to tlpeter : as the analog station has no appearance key to bridge to. But you CAN use a coverage appearance key for analog stations.

I tried a coverage appearance key. When I called the ext number I was covering I got a busy. I will attempt that today again.
Thanks for the replies. That makes sense. No apearance button, no bridged appearance, Duh.
