I have a small campus where I'd like to install wireless bridges in star configuration. I have one long wireless segment.
I've seen references to problems that suggest when several clients attempt to connect to AP, the AP will slow down to the speed of the slowest client. e.g. if I have an 802.11b client and a 802.11g client, all clients will only be able to connect at 802.11b?
Does this apply to bridging? If my long segment slows to 802.11b will my other short segments get throttled down to 802.11b or will they be able connect at 802.11g?
