Bridging a Alcatel Speed touch dsl with firewall

Hi, i have a Alcatel sT dsl with FW with public ip,
behind this there is a checkpoint firewall with private ip.
If a bridge the wan0 with eth0 (protocols in forwarding) and place the public ip on the firewall (using same default mask etc of the alcatel), it work?????
Can i estabilish a vpn firewall to firewall (not the alcatel firewall but a remote firewall)
How can i do it????
