Bridged Appearance Answer > Transfer: During Trans Hold, Call is Picked Up By Another Appearance
We are "new" to Avaya CM for the most part, replacing Nortel CS1000 systems. We have a bridged appearance on a number of phones. When the user answers and then realizes they need to transfer it, another employee sees the winking line and picks it up, creating a 3-way call. We are health care, so privacy is a regulation.
We have Exclusion in every other scenario. If you are on the Bridged Appearance, nobody can break in. It is only when the user is ding the transfer, wating for the called party to answer.
In the Nortel, a Hold because of Transfer was automatically restricted from being picked on other appearances. The exclusion is broken during Transfer Hold in the Avaya CM.
Is there a work-around, assuming we "need" to use Bridged Appearances?
