brick level backups and groupshield

Hi, all
I'm looking for someone who succesfully runs GroupShield (later than 4.4) together with ArcServe brick level backup?

I know there are some "problem" between groupshield 4.5 and Arcserve: there are two solution 1) stop the av, backup then restart av; 2) install the CA av.

We do that. We stop the Groupshiled service and it works fine then restart it. It takes ages to do a brick level backup, but it does work.

You can use the option to run a program before and after the backup, running a batch file that stop groupshield then restart.
