BRI Question 1

Customer has T1 with a BRI for a backup. I have never setup a BRI before. I went to add bri a09, what do I put in the fields, network? user? Slave? What protocol?

Thanks solvic, I think we're on the right track, But when I do a sta trunk group, I get disconnected NE. I just crosswired the 1 pair circuit to the 1st pair of the 25 pair cable. I put in 2 users in the ch bri page is that right? Thanks in advance.

it's not a surprise if you're trying to back up t1. i don't think u.s. telcos are happy to provide euro-isdn. :) so at least you should change companding to mu-law instead of a-law and country protocol 1 instead of etsi. and there is a second page of this form where you should fill spid field if it is required by your telco.
