BRI noisy

Hie to you all.
I have a BRI connecting to CXII that is a new installation and has noise right from the start. I have tried changing the Descriptor values on the Voice & Data Encode from Nil to ADI but the noise remains. If I connect a phone straight onto the ISDN NT the line is clear.

What could be wrong?
 
You could have a hardware fault. Try connecting 2 BRI ports back to back.(T2S) Don't forget the cable twist.
 
I think you are onto something but unfortunately I have no clue as to what you mean. Please supply a more step by step info.

Have you set your controller the correct country in licensing

If its not broke tweak it..
 
It is set to UK although Im in Africa. I normally use UK for lack of a better option and things work but I could try setting different countries.
