Break-trough call forwarding 1

Hi.

I have 3 Users A,B and C

User A forwards all call to B and B to C.

Now C answers the call from A and wants to transfer is back to A.

Does anyone know if its possible?
 
Sounds like a silly setup to me, so I doubt you will get it to work. Why are they doing this anyway? :)

I should add that it should still work OK as long as they don't forward internal calls :)

Sounds like old fashion looping to me.
If A needs the call then answer it instead of forwarding.
If there id a need to forward then do not transfer it.
You could create a group with all three users in it.

Create a usershortcode on extension C:
SC = #XXX were XXX represents the phonenumber of station A
TN = N
Action = Dial Station by Number

That overrules user settings.
 
Forwarding is not effected by DND exceptions though :)

It does if the call forwarding would cause Engaged tone to be returned.

It used to be used quite a lot for manager secretary working.
 
If this is only needed when you need to get external calls forwarded;

Create a HG for each user.

HGa get overflow user HGb and then to HGc
HGb get overflow user HGa and then to HGc
HGc get overflow user HGa and then to HGb

Point the incomming call route for eacht user to it HGx group. So internal the calls will always ring on the extension itself.

That was exactly what i need.

Unfortunately it only works on HardPhones, like Avaya 1616.

On an Avaya Dect Phone the shortcode wont work.

Does anyone know why ?
