I've been asked to setup our own internal AA, it's only 1 tier but the recording I've been told to use has the option of press 1 for blah, 2 for blah or for any other enquiry please hold.

If you hold, the AA just loops, is there a way to set a time out that will eventually break out of the AA to a reception set or group.

This is on MCD 4.1 MXe. The AA set against the DN of a NameTag Huntgroup with a Mailbox set to menu node.

From the Help files for 4.1

Changing a Menu Node Mailbox Time Out Behavior
Access the Administrator's Mailbox.

Press [2] to edit or delete mailboxes.

Press [2] for the Edit Mailbox menu.

Enter the mailbox number to edit.

Press [#] until you get to the Menu Node Time Out option. The system specifies the active Menu Node Time Out behavior:
"Disconnect on menu mailbox time out is disabled" – callers are sent to the mailbox operator upon time out.
"Disconnect on menu node time out is enabled" – callers are disconnected upon time out.

To disconnect callers upon time out, press [1] (enable disconnect).
To send callers to the mailbox operator upon time out, press [2] (disable disconnect).

Note: The default is "Disconnect on menu mailbox time out is disabled".

The system returns you to the mailbox.

Hmmmmm, RTFM. I remember this from my original training now, but it's been so long since I've used it that I forgot.

Thanks

That worked, but the timeout period is quite long and plays the initial message in a loop until it does the transfer.

This time I have looked for the timeout option in the help files, but found nothing.

My memory says that the repeat value was once configurable when it was on the Express Messenger card in a SX200.

The 3300 Docs say it will repeat 3 times before timeout.
