Hello:

I am brand spankin' new to PHP programming. About all I can do is make a 'Hello World' program.

I need help to.

Ok, here are my questions:

First, does anyone know how I can install PHP on my system so that it will work with Apache? I am running Windows Me and I have Apache running flawlessly, and I want to be able to run PHP scripts locally. Does anyone know how to do this or where I can go to a tutorial that is step by step on how to do this that does not assume any prior knowledge?

Second, what is the absoulte best PHP site on the Internet to learn PHP? I have tried and find it useful for some things, but not for a beginner.

Third, what is the best PHP book (on PHP4) out there? I have seen many on PHP3 but not that many on 4.

All help is greatly appreciated. I plan to learn the language by myself, but of course I will be posting here frequently with questions I have.

Thank you for your time in this matter.

Thanks for that.

Recently I have been scouring the Internet for links on where I can learn PHP, and came up quite often.

Thanks for that.
Also, from I found out where to download a program called PHPTriad, which installs MySQL, Apache, and PHP (all the latest versions) on your machine. It's only for Window's users, but it really is quite nice without having to mess with any of the .conf files.

P.S. You can download PHPTriad at [sig]<p>vic cherubini<br><a href=mailto:malice365@hotmail.com>malice365@hotmail.com</a><br><a href= software</a><br>====<br>
