Branch Office DNIS routing

Site A is my main office and has SCCS 5.0 SUS0505. Site B is a branch office with LD T1s for inbound toll-free calls that terminate to IP sets that are registered back to site A's PBX and are agents on site A's SCCS. SCCS routing based on DNIS works when calls are received inbound to site A on LD T1s. Inbound site B calls receive the same DNIS from the carrier, IDC to an ACDN that NCFWs to a CDP distance steering code that gets it to the site A SCCS via a callpilot application also in site A. These calls don't seem to be presented to the SCCS with the original DNIS element.

Finally my question:
Should DNIS be able to be routed over Virtual Trunks from a branch office to the main office that has the SCCS?

I have DNIS: Yes on all inbound routes and also the virtual trunk routes at each site.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Rob

Have you tried changing the ACD DN to a phantom that is DCFW'd directly into the Call Pilot?

Tried a phantom with no luck. What is the procedure to troubleshoot with the MLSM so that I can actually see the information elements that are being passed to SCCS in real time?

Thanks
Rob

I just did something really similar, when the call came into Site B, I IDC'd the DNIS directly to the CDN that was in the Symposium at Site A. I didn't have it do a hop with an ACD Q/Phantom.

for real time on the d, enl msgi x for inbound msgs on the d in load 96..

Iretrievers, that is definitely good to know. I have tried using IDC to convert right to the CDN at the other site. I have the CDN at site A programmed as a CDP DSC. Is this how you are set up? I just noticed that the HLOC is setup in the CDB, but not in LD 90. Do you think this makes a difference? I have read that HLOC needs to be setup in order for various networking apps to work.

John, I don't see any specific DNIS field in the dchannel messages. Should I be seeing this?

Thanks to all for the help

Rob

HLOC needs to be setup when you are using UDP vs CDP. If you were networking Symposiums together, you definitely need to set up UDP to do the networking between the Symposiums. HLOC shouldn't be an issue in this case unless you have networked Symposiums in addition to the Branch Office situation.
