My question here is can I assign an ip address to a fiber module? Here is my application.

PBX--MCK Extender--BPS--FIBER FEED PPP--BPS--REMOTE MCK.

I need to be able to route too the MCK Extenders. Is this possible. Jeter@LasVegas.com

The Baystack 450 (or BPS2000) will not allow you to put an IP on a port. The only IP you put on the switch is the managment IP. The Accelar (Passport) products will allow you to IP an Indivual port. My suggestions are what I would try myself. If incorrect, I welcome corrections to my knowledge.
