Hi,
Is there a way in which jobs can be suspended whilst a manual 'bpbackupdb' (Catalog Backup) is done, as simply running the command does NOT stop new policies from running.

I vaguely remember something about one of the many 'config' files with a '0' in it would do the trick - can any one help

Basically change the "Global Attributes" Set the #of attempts per hour to zero
via command line:
usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpconfig -tries 0

to verify:
usr/openv/netbackup/bin/admincmd/bpconfig -L
