Any program calling the crt unit fails with an Error 200 (division by 0) message under Windows ME. Worked fine under Win98.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Martin,

1. Try this 1st
It sounds like you have the boot sector protected by a virus software. turn off on boot and do not start in windows.

START, RUN, MSCONFIG, select STARTUP TAB and uncheck you virus software.
Check WIN.INI and SYS.INI for enters.
REBOOT
2. Try this 2nd
Also you can try booting with select items.

on reboot hold down the control key the start select menu will come up
choose step by step.
3.3rd
If you can get windows up go to START, Run, type MSCONFIG
uncheck win.ini, Then select START SELECT
Now got to START, ACCESSORIES, choose the MS-DOS prompt
cd ..
You will want to TYPE EDIT
when the edit window comes up go FILE, OPEN, WIN.INI
edit and del clean= and null= with these two lines gone your errors will
show which items are causing the problem.
Then RUN SHUTDOWN

we are trying to see if you can get a clean boot.
