bp.conf help

Hello
I am trying to connect to the Netbackup Server. When I launch the Veritas Enterprise Administrator and select connect. I enter the server name or ip address and the userid and password. I then get this error message:
v-39-53247-1
Error while connecting to mybackupserver
Could not connect ot the server. Server may be down.

I have edited the bp.conf file and added "SERVER = ipaddress" and restared the netbackup services. What am I missing?

You tried IP address and it didn't work. Try using servername instead of IP address.
