Hi,
How can one secure the Ericsson BP250 against toll fraud?
Toll fraud on PBX systems is achieved by calling into a user's mailbox settings menu, the passcode on the users mailboxes are often let default to 1111 or 0000 or 1234. In that menu they program a personal assistant number.
How can you secure the BP250?
Changing the system password?
How can you change the auhority code (used to access the VM)
Delete the DID number assigned to VM system, if programmed.
Change the COS of the user, ports, ISDN,...?
What things need to be disabled?
