Hi aleena7,
for the system that request would:

Hardware Survey

Cabinet 0
0/0 CPU D 5
1/1 BTUD PRI ISDN
2/2 BTUA 8 analog trunks
3/3 BTUA 8 analog trunks
4/4 ELUA 32 digital phones.
5/5 ELUA 16 analog
6/6 ELUA 16 analog
7/7 ELUA 16 analog
8/8 ELUA 16 analog

Cabinet 1
0/16 ICCU 32 INTEGRATED DECT with 4 base station

8/24 VMUH 16 auto attend voice mail

How many base station?

As you expand the opportunity to put other board, but it all depends on how many base station you need.
example:
20 base station:
4 at iccu2
you need other 2 iclu with 8 base station stacks

then for example in the second cabinet you have:

Cabinet 1
0/16 ICCU 32 INTEGRATED DECT with 4 base station
0/17 ICLU 8 base station
0/18 ICLU 8 base station
0/19 FREE
0/20 FREE
0/21 FREE
0/22 FREE
0/23 FREE
8/24 VMUH 16 auto attend voice mail

In this case you can expand with 5 new board (ex. trunk, extension, voip)

I hope I was clear and I understood your question

HI nerdhherd27,
your reply was very helpful and thak you very much for that. do i have to order every card separatly or the
k 250 r17 enter enter btu-d basic system has any card in it or only the cabinet.

thanks in advance

The important thing is not to take the CPU-D5 COMPACT because otherwise you're stuck with the limits and extensions of board in your case, you get what you need as I described before.
