Crystal Reports 11
Oracle 10G
INFOVIEW
I have a Crystal Report published in Infoview. Within the report, there is a field that links to an external application. The Crystal Report automatically opens the link in a separate window, allowing the client to review both the external app and the report at the same time.
Within Infoview, by default the url link opens within the Infoview screen, disallowing the capability to review both the report and the external application at the same time. When the client clicks "Back" to return to the report, the report is no longer available.
A workaround is to train the client to SHIFT, then LEFT CLICK mouse. But this is not the best solution.
Is there a setting within Infoview, or Crystal, that we need to change, to enable the link to open in a separate window?
Thanks,
Helen
