Ever since we recently upgraded to Business Objects XI Release 2 from Crystal Enterprise 9 users are having problems with parameter reports. We always use the Schedule function and don't allow On-Demand reports. So what happens is the user clicks on Parameters and then clicks on a particular parameter the prompt appears lower than the current screen. So the user has to scroll down to enter the parameter. Also if they scroll down to enter the parameter and don't scroll down enough they do not see the OK button and after entering in the parameter they click SCHEDULE. What happens is the report fails because the parameter was not entered (because the OK button was not clicked).
So we have a lot of users having FAILED reports. Is it possible that Business Objects will resolve this scrolling issue so that when a user clicks on a parameter that it will automatically scroll down? There are approximately 8-10 failed instances from the previous day when I check the Instance Manager each morning. Also, why can't they make the InfoView application refresh automatically? I would've thought they would've resolved this issue by now. I do love the "Reschedule" capability though!
Anyone else having the issue of failing reports because of the scrolling issue.
