boxi 3.1: server names with spaces ok? "server1.desktopintelligencejobserver 2"

Hi, we have recently added some new servers for deski and webi and I just noticed that the folks who added these put spaces.

is this normally considered ok, or might it result in issues?

ex: "server1.desktopintelligencejobserver 2"
instead of ""server1.desktopintelligencejobserver2" <-- is this better?
