Hi,

We are currently unsing BOXI 3.1 and have around 6000 crystal Reports, we would like to change the database logon details preferable on mass and not individaully.
I've had a quick look and it looks like Schedule Manager will do this for us, but I've had a bit of a play and it appears to only change the database details for about 20 reports at one time (the number displayed on one page).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how we could make this a little easier, all at once with the same database logon details would be good.

Thanks in Advance

Hi,
I believe that there is an option to change all the reports in a folder but not beyond that (Try the instance manager as well as the schedule manager).
By using the BOE SDK, you might be able to custom code a script that would traverse all the published reports and change those components, but it would not be a simple task unless you are very familiar with the BOE data structures.

Unfortunately, the Instance Manager will only get you to scheduled instances of a report - it won't let you change anything on the report template.

In the past I have written C#.NET code to do this, unfortunately it was for a previous employer and I don't have a copy of it anywhere. It was not all that difficult to do, though.

Hi,
I had previously posted some code ( VB though not C#) that I used for querying the InfoObject collections:

and

It may remind you of your C# methods.I cannot find my .NET versions but the techniques are similar.
