Box-like characters in table feilds

I get box-like charachters in some of the table feilds in access 2000 but when I paste them here in this thread they come out as
???????

The box like figures also show as boxes inthe feilds on the form that calls it's data from the table.
I can't delete these records either.

What in the world is going on?

That sounds like you have captured Paragraph Markers in your string ( From Word or similar ) and then pasted them into the text box CONTROL.

Text box controls do not respond to Paragraph markers ( or TAB characters ) pasted in from Word in the way you would like.

They show up as squares in the text string.
