Box around Sub Report in access

I have a variable sub report that would like to put a box around the detail section. The section displays variable lenth lines that are linked to a field. How can I put a box around the section. Or around the max length of the detail report.

I use the code below but it put a box on each detail line. Suggestions or guidance will be helpfull.

Have you tried displaying a border around the subreport control? The border will grow with the subreport.

If you need to include more than just the subreport in the rectangle, you can use the Line method in the On Print event of the main report section containing the subreport. If this is the case, come back with some additional information.

I might not understand your question but you have a border property on a subreport.

I tried to explain my problem. I tried line borders in the main report and subreport. When I do that I get borders on all the lines that that report print.

Don't know what additiona infformation to provide. My apologies.

Can we assume you have a subreport in the detail section of a main report and you want to draw a rectangle around multiple instances of the subreport? If so, I think you may need to add horizontal lines at the bottom of your page header and the top of your page footer section. Then add code to the On Print event of detail section of the main report to draw the vertical lines based on the grown height of the subreport control.
