Hi,

This morning I had a server crash... (power failure it seems to be the cause...), and I wanted to know more about. I went into the '/etc/shutdownlog' and at the end is following line:

Reboot after panic: , isr.ior = 0'10240001.0'6e5b80a0

Is there a way to get more precise answers bout that sudden reboot? Thnx in advance

Regards

Can you not see any further info at the end of /var/adm/syslog/OLDsyslog.log. Also look if a crash dump and tombstones have been created ot mail for EMS output if you have it setup.

hmmm..... I checked the OLDsyslog.log file, and it's a bit rubbish... but so far I unerstood, he wasn't able to communicate to the net (the hubs were not on batteries, so it's normal)... and also it looks like the external cluster/hardisks couldn't be reached too.... is this enough for the server to reboot???

Thnx

Check out this document on HP's ITRC.
