Bound or unbound controls ...which is the best choice 1

Hi

I`m wondering what the determining factor is for using
bound or unbound controls. What are the pros and cons
for each method.

This is sort of a tough question to answer. If you don't use bound (or dawaare objects, then you need to populate the controls from the database and then you need to update the database when the user is finished with them. I've seen that done and it's not pretty; it can also be *very* time-consuming, depending on the complexity of the database and the connection you're using.

On the other hand, it does provide you with full control, so I suppose that's something.

I honestly can't think of many reasons why you wouldn't use data-aware controls for database applications.
