Hi,

i am Working with Visual Basic 6.0 and i created a database in access 2000. When i try to bind this mdb to a data control(i specified the databasename and when i click on record source it is giving me error) in a form it is giving me error
'Unrecognized database format'
Can't i use Access 2000 with VB 6.0?

Thanks
Ani
Yes. Are you using ADO. If you are you need to use the OLE DB Jet 4.0 driver, rather than the 3.5 driver, as Access 2000 uses jet 4 and so the jet 3.5 driver cannot recognise the database.

James :)
James Culshaw
james_culshaw@activedatasolutions.madasafish.com
