We've bought an 11C Mini from a defunct business enterprise so that we can have a test system here in our office. Unfortunately, we didn't realize that no one had the password to access the system, and Nortel is quoting big $$$ for establishing right-to-use and password resetting. If anyone knows a "back door" option to access the system --we aren't reselling this, we just need a system to play with in order to support our Nortel customers. Help? Phonia

PHONIA;

YOU CAN USE ANOTHER DATABASE FOR THIS MINI OPT 11 C.

FIRST OF ALL YOU HAVE TO HAVE ANOTHER OPT 11 C MINI (IT MUST HAVE THE SAME OR THE LOWER RLS WITH YOURS)AND BACK UP THIS SYSTEM DATAS.AND THEN YOU CAN RESTORE THIS DATA TO YOUR MINI OPT 11 C FROM THE PDT PROMPTS.

WHEN YOU MADE LIKE THAT YOU WILL SEE THAT YOU CAN USE THE BACKED UP SYSTEMS PASSWORD AT YOUR MINI OPT 11 C.

BULENT

OR...you can try to reinstall the software of same Rls as new installation from PCMCIA card and select the default database.
