The boss wants 2 phone in his office so he can answer the phone wherever he is sitting (huge office). What is the best way to go about setting up 2 sets to match? I don't think form 9 will allow setting up the same extension on 2 phones. I tried setting up the 2nd phone with its own extension and added his primary line appearing on key 2 (multiple in/out). It sort of works but you can't run to the other phone and press the line to pick up. What is the best way to do this?

Thanks

The SX200 has a feature called Twinning specifically for this purpose.

Phone twinning provides concurrent ringing and message waiting indication on as many as five phones.

Specifics are in the manual

Ringing Line Select Yes

Change it in Class of service assignments. When presence button is ringing you boss will just need to pick eather phone up.

how about creating a pickup group with these two phones as members and then choose the pickup options dialed or auto

norstarboston,

The setup you already have is adequate if you change the key type to Key System instead of multicall. This will allow you to place the call on hold on one set and pickup on the other.

Beyond that, look into twinning.
