Boss-Secretary setup 2

We have an NEC IPK system. I want to set up the direct incoming call to the boss's extension to ring both the boss and the secretary phones, and the secretary can push a button to pick up the call. I have access to the NEC Elite IPK SAT release 3.5 if that helps.

What type of outside lines do you have?

Analog / POTS

We PRI with DID setup for direct call to each extension.

The easiest way would be to put an "SIE key" (Secondary Incoming Extension) on the receptionists phone. First go to both phones and press Feature + 4 this will give you the port number of the extensions. Once you have the port numbers go to Memory Block 4-12 (I believe from the edit menu you can do a quick search to find memory blocks). Select the receptionists phone from the drop down and on a vacant button assign an SIE key and use the bosses phones port number. This will make the key flash when the bosses phone rings, and to make it ring go to MB 4-37 and check off the button you programmed above in 4-12.
