Hi

We have a boss group setup that rings two extensions. We want the boss group to go to one voicemail box after it rings 4 times. I have the group no answer and busy forwarded to the voicemail box but it takes 16 rings before it forwards. I'm wondering if there is a timer somewhere that would change this as this is way too many rings. I tried adjusting the delayed ring timer in the boss group but it didn't change anything and I'm pretty sure that isn't what it's for.

Any help would be appreciated.

So you have FEAT,1,0 options 3 & 13 (CFB & CFNA) enabled to a Public Library (or possibly a APDL for iCMC/uCMC/SFC voicemail) correct?

Check ST.T for CFNA timer but I'm pretty sure that the timer that controls this is actually the Delay timer in the Boss Group itself.

Are all members set to ring immediate or some on delay?

I'm actually at Tadiran in Tel Aviv today looking at the Sea Softswitch (good product!) so will check the timers on the Coral while I'm there. I'll come back to you.

Your assumptions were correct.

After breaking out the manual I discovered that a Boss Group follows the MULT_APR_RING timer if the last member in the group is defined as multi-appearance.

This timer was set to the default of 900. I changed it to 160 like the rest of our switches and it worked perfectly.

Thanks for your time, hope you have a safe trip.

Does anyone have a pdf version of the Tadiran Coral V14 or V15 program manual?
Also how do I fix a problem , where an outside line is unable to dial in to an extension?
