I have got the Bose Freespace Model 16 loudspeakers for our pa system, and someone told me that you needed to have a higher gauge on the audio cable to be able to power it and i was just wondering what the recommendations were on this. Our communications guy was the one that was supposed to take care of this but he up and quite so now im stuck with it and i need some guidence......

It looks like the Bose Freespace Model 16 works as either a 70 volt or 8 ohm speaker.

If you run them in 70 volt mode (with a transformer at the amp) then you can use 20 to 24 gauge wire. See a description of 70 volt systems here:
If you go 8 ohm you will need a larger gauge wire. I usually use 16 for up to 100' and 14 for up to 200'.

If you can describe the application better I can give more information.
