Saw an ad for POS/BOS Analyst. What is BOS?

Point of Sale (POS)
Back Office System (BOS)
Head Office System (HOS)

This is common terminology used most commonly in corporate retail and restaurant environments. In this setup POS is order entry, BOS is a fileserver of data server either on or off site that communicates directly to the POS. HOS is a centralized system that all BOS communicate with across the enterprise via WAN, VPN, smoke signals etc.
