does builder adhere to a posix standard? i am wanting to use it for a threading project for my comp sci class but the instructor has required that the compiler use Posix-standard libraries. (i need to find pthreads). help please! thanks!!

C++ Builder uses the Standard Template Library (STL) and is comliant with standardized C++. BCB is as Postix compliant as STL and the standard are.
