I recently installed Borland C++ Builder Pro Version 6.0 on a Windows NT Machine and upon starting the C++ application am receiving a "Not enough system resources" error. No other processes are running in the background and the Virtual Memory settings are set to what Windows NT advises.

What might be the problem with this setup - is NT simply a bad choice to run this particular version of Borland C++ (which includes the IDE)[ponder]

Considering that MS has dropped support for NT and that BCB 6 was designed for W2K and XP, yes, I think NT is too "underpowered" for BCB. I've run into the resource problem on NT with other programs. Is your NT fully service packed? If it is, try increasing your virtual memory anyway just to see if you can get BCB to run.

To determine how long it will take to write and debug a program, take your best estimate, multiply that by two, add one, and convert to the next higher units.
